EkoNivaAgro

EkoNivaAgro has been operating since March 2002. The main area of activity is dairy farming. The enterprise is also engaged in growing cereal, pulse, fodder, profitable industrial crops as well as seed production. EkoNivaAgro employs over 4,300 people engaged in different areas of activity.

EkoNivaAgro operates on the territory of Liski, Kamenka, Bobrov, Kashira, Anna, Buturlinovka and Talovo districts of Voronezh oblast. The total agricultural land area is 146,700 ha.

The enterprise is the largest milk producer in Voronezh oblast — 1,357 tonnes of milk per day. The total herd size is 93,000 head of cattle, of which 44,500 are dairy сows.

Currently, there are 28 livestock farming subdivisions operating within the enterprise, including 16 high-tech free-stall dairy facilities. The enterprise is a stock-breeding plant for Holstein Black-and-White, Red-and-White and Simmental breeds.

EkoNivaAgro implements a cow-calf project. Male calves are kept on the pasture until they are 6-7 months old, further, they are sold to beef finishing enterprises.

In crop production, work is carried out in the following areas: fodder and cash grain production, growing high-margin industrial crops and certified seeds of cereals, pulses and fodder grasses. Mini- and zero soil tillage and modern farm machinery are actively practiced. The Company’s grain management system meets the most advanced standards due to the use of three modern grain storage facilities with the total capacity of 92,000 tonnes.

The company is actively developing seed growing. Seeds of winter wheat, spring barley, alfalfa, sainfoin, soya beans and other crops are produced on an area of 3,650 ha. Availability of a seed plant with a capacity of 12 tonnes/hour and the required infrastructure lays the groundwork for expansion in the future.

The gross output in 2022 amounted to 559,400 tonnes (including maize for grain, cereals, pulses, oil crops and sugar beet).

The Company’s specialists constantly improve their professional skills taking extra training both at the company’s facilities and abroad, and attending major Russian and international agricultural trade shows.

EkoNivaAgro supports the local community and actively develops infrastructure in rural areas. The company also provides support to orthodox churches such as the Cathedral of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God in Liski, the Cathedral of Trinity in Zaluzhnoye village, a cathedral in Divnogorye, the Cathedral of Nativity of the Virgin Mary in Shchuchye village, the Cathedral of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in Vladimirovka village and the Cathedral of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Shishovka village.

The priority direction in the company's social policy is to create comfortable living conditions for the employees. EkoNivaAgro has launched its own housing project under the Comprehensive Development of Rural Areas programme aimed at making housing facilities available to the residents of villages. In Lisky and Bobrov districts alone, 66 new houses for the company’s specialists have already been built and commissioned. Also in Bobrov district the company purchased a modern house with 45 apartments for the specialists.

EkoNivaAgro supports all social areas of life and develops rural infrastructure: renders support to orthodox churches, schools, nurseries, sports clubs, veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
