Kaluzhskaya Niva has been operating since 2006. The enterprise specialises in milk production and processing, crop farming and pedigree cattle breeding. It is also a stock-breeding farm and breeding reproducer of Holstein cattle. The company currently employs about 2,000 people.

Kaluzhskaya Niva comprises several farming enterprises located in seven districts of the region: Peremyshl, Ferzikovo, Kozelsk, Medyn, Dzerzhinskiy, Maloyaroslavets and Khvastovichi. The overall farmland area is 88,900 ha. The total herd size is 48,200 head of cattle, of which 22,500 are dairy сows. Currently, the milk yield of the enterprise amounts to 740 tonnes per day.

The gross output of the cash crops in 2025 reached 49,700 tonnes (including maize for grain, cereals and oil crops).

The company takes an active part in social welfare activities, supporting veterans, local schools, kindergartens and churches. It also develops agriclasses and builds talent pool. Kaluzhskaya Niva contributes to the work carried out under the Comprehensive Development of Rural Areas federal programme, co-financing the construction of housing for its employees.
