EkoNiva farms harvest 1.2 million tonnes of cash crops
Press-centre / News,
EkoNiva Group, Russia's largest dairy holding, is summing up the results of the 2025 harvest season. The Group's enterprises harvested about 1.2 million tonnes of marketable crops in standard weight, including seeds, from an area exceeding 260,000 hectares.

The 2025 crop yield is 9% higher than that of the previous season (2024: 1.08 million tonnes). The total number includes over 635,000 tonnes of cereals, about 158,000 tonnes of pulses, and more than 42,000 tonnes of oilseeds. The sugar beet harvest amounted to 303,000 tonnes.
Furthermore, EkoNiva's subdivisions have completed the harvest of forage crops. The farms have produced over 1 million tonnes of feed in dry matter (2024: 970,000 tonnes, +6%). This figure also exceeds both planned and forecasted targets.
‘We assess this year's weather conditions as good: apart from spring frosts in the Volga and Black Soil regions, significant negative factors were largely absent. Most importantly, there was sufficient moisture in the soil for plant development. The harvesting campaign was carried out amidst heavy rainfall, which affected its timing. The harvested volume aligns with our forecasts, and the crop quality is higher than last year’, says Aleksandr Anpilov, Crop Production Director at EkoNiva Group.
EkoNiva enterprises have also completed the sowing of winter crops for the 2026 season. The work covered about 64,000 hectares in the 13 regions where the Group operates. The area was sown with wheat, rye, rapeseed, triticale and annual grasses.
