Twelve employees of EkoNiva’s Kaluga subdivision receive keys to new homes

Twelve new houses have been built in the agricultural town in the village of Penevichi, Khvastovichi district of Kaluga oblast, under the Comprehensive Rural Development state programme. The keys were handed to EkoNiva’s employees. The Group co-financed the construction, with investments in the project amounting to around 49 million rubles.

The new homes on Dekabristov Street have an area of 75 square metres. They are connected to gas, water, electricity supply and public sewage. The interior finishing has been completed. Besides, the houses have garden plots of 0.15 ha.
The families of Andrey Vlasenko, Deputy Chief Engineer for Livestock Equipment, Anton Lokonov, Chief Power Engineer, Pavel Gaiduk, Construction Foreman, Pavel Vazhneyev, Driver, Dmitry Kalinin, Electrician, Dmitry Chilyaev, Mechanic, Sergey Ivanov, Vehicle Fleet Manager, Anastasia Kuzmicheva, HR Inspector, Natalia Gusakova, Milking Machine Operator, Andrey Mazurin, Mechanic, Konstantin Timofeyev, Lead Engineer, and Artyom Korotkov, Lead Agronomist have moved into comfortable homes.
‘I moved to Khvastovichi district five years ago, and housing for my family and me was a pressing issue’, says Pavel Gaiduk, Construction Foreman. ‘I am very happy that we now have our own cosy home! I think our houses are wonderful and we have the best neighbours – my colleagues, with whom I have very warm relations. So, I am sure life in our agricultural town will be vibrant and interesting!’
Alexander Yefremov, Minister of Agriculture of Kaluga oblast; Sergey Vedenkin, Head of Khvastovichi municipal district; Nikita Globa, Director of the Troitsky Agro-Industrial Complex, part of EkoNiva Group, and other honoured guests attended the key presentation ceremony. They toured the houses and congratulated the new residents.
‘I am grateful to everyone who was engaged in the construction of these houses. The work was completed on time and to a high standard. Thanks to this programme, specialists are coming to Khvastovichi district and settling here, which contributes to the development of the village and the whole district. I wish the new residents good health and good luck’, says Sergey Vedenkin, Head of Khvastovichi municipal district.
‘A great deal of work has been done. I am glad to see the overall transformation of Khvastovichi municipal district. Recently, EkoNiva Group has opened one of the largest dairy farms in Kaluga oblast here. Right after, they began building houses for its employees. Social infrastructure is being actively developed in Khvastovichi district, making life more comfortable for local residents. We are planning to continue implementing this integrated approach in Kaluga oblast’, says Alexander Yefremov, Minister of Agriculture of Kaluga oblast.

EkoNiva has been participating in the Comprehensive Development of Rural Areas state programme in Kaluga oblast since 2023. A total of 27 houses have been built in the village of Penevichi, Khvastovichi district, where EkoNiva employees' families live today.
