EkoNiva Group, Russia's largest dairy holding, has unveiled a novelty at the Prodexpo 2026 international food and beverage trade show – quark dessert with a banana flavour. The event participants were the first to taste the new item within the line of quark desserts with fruit and berry fillings.

EkoNiva manufactures these products at MosMedynagroprom plant in Kaluga oblast. Like other varieties, the banana-flavoured quark dessert is high in protein – 7 g per 100 g – and has a fat content of 5%. It is packaged in 125-g plastic cups and made from premium‑quality milk from the Group’s own farms with the use of a special live starter culture and natural fruit filling. The product has a smooth cream-like consistency, a creamy flavour and is rich in easily digestible protein. It can be enjoyed on its own or used to create desserts with granola, cereals, nuts and toppings. The novelty will soon be available in major federal retail chains and the Group's brand shops.

At Prodexpo, the company’s booth featured a wide range of conventional dairy products, semi-hard and hard cheeses, EKONIVA Organic and Professional Line milk as well as High Focus, an innovative drink designed to improve concentration span. The guests could take part in culinary workshops and cook dishes using EKONIVA curds, cheese and butter. They were also treated to traditional and signature coffee beverages made with EKONIVA Organic and Professional Line milk, including lactose-free one, modern drinks based on High Focus and raclette prepared with the Dürr cheese.

Prodexpo is Russia's largest industry-specific event for food and beverage producers, who showcase both finished goods and raw materials: from basic staples to exquisite delicacies, including sports nutrition, organic, halal, kosher and exotic foods.
