The 7th stage of Young Farmer, an annual youth intellectual game, came to an end on 26 April 2019, its results being summed up on the premises of Voronezh State Agricultural University. This year, the contest was organised with support from the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the Corporation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and the Russian Centre for Youth Entrepreneurship Promotion, EkoNiva being the general sponsor of the event. 40 best projects from all federal districts of the country had been selected to be presented at the contest which was held at the oldest University of Black Soil region.
On 24 April, a delegation headed by the Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany Gerd Mueller paid a visit to the heart of the Central Black Earth region. Voronezh State Agricultural University named after Emperor Peter I hosted a conference dedicated to the role of Russia and Germany in the provision of staple food to the world population. Stefan Duerr, President of EkoNiva Group acted as a moderator of the meeting, which became the highlight of the visit.

On 3 April, milk production in EkoNiva exceeded 2,000 tonnes per day. It took the company four months to break its own record - 1,500 tonnes per day - proving its leadership in the Russian milk market once again and strengthening its position as a top 10 milk producer in the world.
The swimming competition for EkoNiva prizes, the first stage of which took place on 30th and 31st March, was added to the schedule of children’s sports events in Liski region (Voronezh oblast).
EkoNiva-APK’s management have improved their knowledge base and enhanced their professional skills, having participated in a corporate training, which took place in Lipetsk oblast in three batches.
There were held volleyball competitions between EkoNivaAgro divisions at the fitness and health centre Lokomotiv (Liski). The competitors demonstrated splendid physical fitness and they fought for the prizes with genuine gusto.
EkoNiva received two awards at the annual Danone Suppliers Day, which took place in Kazan on 26 March 2019. EkoNiva Holding was recognized in the Innovative Approach to Dairy Farm Business and Top Milk Quality categories.
