22 August has become a significant date for EkoNiva and an important milestone for Orenburg oblast symbolising a new page in the regional history of agriculture. Severnoye district hosted an opening ceremony of the mega farm Kurskaya Vasilyevka designed for 2,800 milking cows and 10,100 calves. The new enterprise with a productive capacity of 100 tonnes of milk per day is equipped with the modern milking equipment – a rotary milking parlour for 72 cows and an advanced herd management system. Rosselkhozbank supported the implementation of the project, the total investment in which amounted to 2.8 billion rubles.

For the first time, International EkoNiva-Semena Field Day 2019 in Siberia has been held on the vast expanses of Sibirskaya Niva farm located in Maslyanino village, Novosibirsk oblast. About one hundred and fifty growers from Novosibirsk and Kemerovo oblasts, Altai and Krasnoyarsk areas gathered to see various innovations showcased at the event. A large delegation representing Kazakhstan paid a visit as well. The far-reaching agricultural festival was organised by EkoNiva-Semena with the participation of EkoNivaSibir and BASF.

On Russia’s Navy Day, 28 July, a dragon boat race took place in the waters of Voronezh Reservoir. This dramatic event was called Peter the Great Regatta 2019. Twelve teams representing different business enterprises strove for victory, including EkoNiva which welcomed the chance to participate in this competition again.
The compelling motto has become the keynote of the third Russian Nationwide Spartakiad for Athletes with Disabilities held in Yoshkar-Ola. It was the first time young sportsmen from Liski had taken part in this kind of sports event.

EkoNiva, the most prominent raw milk producer in Russia and Europe, has started operating in the Northwestern region of the country where the holding has acquired an agricultural asset in Volosovo district, Leningrad oblast.
