Stefan Dürr, Founder and President of Russia’s largest dairy holding EkoNiva Group, has launched the milk processing plant in Maslyanino, Novosibirsk oblast. The opening ceremony was attended via video conference by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and the Governor of Novosibirsk oblast Andrey Travnikov.

A breeding trial evaluation has finished at EkoNiva Group’s Breeding and Variety Maintenance Centre. It was attended by the managers of the holding and key production enterprises, breeders, agronomists as well as students undergoing internship at the company. The breeders, variety testers and agritechnologists from Kursk, Voronezh, Ryazan, Novosibirsk and Volga subdivisions demonstrated nurseries and trial plots, which will help in the creation of new varieties, as well as cultivation technology trials conducted with in-house bred varieties.

Russia’s major dairy holding EkoNiva Group has once again been recognised as the undisputed leader in the rating of domestic raw milk producers. The annual ranking is compiled by analysts from the National Association of Milk Producers (Soyuzmoloko), Streda Consulting and the Milknews industry agency. EkoNiva has topped the list of the country’s 30 largest companies in terms of gross milk yield in 2025.

The employees of the Group’s Voronezh subdivision have received keys to two new houses in Bobrov district. They were built under the Comprehensive Development of Rural Areas state programme, in which EkoNiva has been participating since 2020. The financing of the two dwellings totalled 20 million rubles, with the company’s share amounting to 45%.
