Students from 17 universities taking course in EkoNiva Livestock Farming Academy

The enterprises of EkoNiva Group, the largest dairy producer in Russia, have hosted EkoNiva Spring Academy of Livestock Production on their farms in Voronezh oblast. A week-long course is finished on 4 March.
Seventeen students from 17 leading agricultural universities are participating in the training session. The curriculum features a week’s intensive course of seminars and practical training in modern livestock management. The students gain hands-on experience in the reproduction area, calf barns and hospitals supervised by EkoNiva specialists.
‘Today, EkoNiva is running around ten projects for young specialists, each one is unique in its own way, but all of them share the same goal – to ensure high competence of young professionals and reinforce the positive image of the agriculture’, says Boris Morev, Corporate Academy Manager.
EkoNiva Academy was launched in 2015 for students studying Herd Management, Veterinary Medicine, Agronomy or Engineering. About 300 young professionals have taken the course in seven years, many of them have further taken jobs in the company.
