EkoNiva, Russia's largest milk producer, announces the commissioning of Bortnikovo dairy farm in Stupino district, Moscow oblast. The project investments totalled 4.1 billion rubles, with Rosselkhozbank being the financial partner. The launching ceremony was attended by Andrey Vorobyov, Governor of the region, Denis Konstantinov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Rosselkhozbank, and Stefan Dürr, President of EkoNiva Group.
Ryazan subdivision of EkoNiva Group, the country's largest dairy holding, took part in the 25th Russian agricultural trade fair Golden Autumn 2023 from 4 to 7 October in Moscow. At the event, Oka Moloko farming enterprise showcased two Holstein cows – Kislaya and Ami.
EkoNiva's enterprise has taken sixth place in the ranking of the most highly productive dairy farms. It was released by the National Association of Milk Producers (Soyuzmoloko) and Streda Consulting data analytics company. The productivity of the holding's cows on Nesterovo farm in Ryazan oblast reached 12,742 kg per head by the end of 2022.
The company has officially re-launched Belsakhar sugar plant in its Kursk subdivision. It is symbolic that this event coincided with the 165th anniversary of the factory’s foundation. The opening ceremony was attended by Roman Starovoyt, Governor of Kursk Oblast, and Stefan Dürr, President of EkoNiva Group. As part of the celebration, the best employees of Belsakhar were honoured with regional awards.
EkoNiva Group, the largest raw milk producer in Russia, is gearing up for the launch of trades in raw whole cow milk, skimmed milk powder and butter. They will be organised at the National Mercantile Exchange (NAMEX, part of the Moscow Exchange Group).
A delegation from Yinong Corporation, the leading farming enterprise in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, has visited EkoNiva’s Kursk subdivision in Shchigry district. The main purpose of the business meeting was to exchange experience.
EkoNiva Group, Russia's largest dairy holding, has announced the start of sugar beet harvesting in Kursk oblast. Belsakhar, a plant within the Group, will resume operations in the 2023/24 farming season to process the crop.
EkoNiva's enterprise in Voronezh oblast hosted a team-building event called Intern 2023 from 6 to 8 September. It was held as part of the Internship training project, bringing together 36 young specialists from 5 company’s geographies.
In the 2023/24 academic year, EkoNiva will open the first specialised class, so called agriclass, in the region together with Kursk State Agricultural University. High school students will be introduced to modern farming and trained to enter secondary vocational and higher education institutions.
A delegation headed by Aleksandr Gusev, Governor of Voronezh oblast, has paid a visit to Ozyorki dairy designed for 3,550 cows and 3,600 young animals. The head of the region met with the managers of Voronezh enterprise of EkoNiva Group and praised the company's contribution to the development of the local dairy farming.
