From February to April, EkoNiva’s employees and their families took part in fishing, volleyball, futsal, table tennis and billiards competitions as well as fun relay and ski races held at the company’s enterprises in Voronezh oblast.

EkoNiva Group, the largest milk producing holding in Russia, has announced the launch of spring fieldwork starting side dressing and harrowing in Voronezh oblast and fertiliser application in Kursk oblast.
Aleksandr Borodikhin, Deputy Head of State Labour Inspectorate for Voronezh oblast, has paid a preventive visit to EkoNivaAgro, a Voronezh subdivision of EkoNiva Group, where he took a close look at a machinery repair shop at one of the enterprises.
Savinskaya Niva organic enterprise, part of EkoNiva Group, has stepped up raw milk production and increased the herd productivity. Such growth stemmed from a successful experiment on improving nutrient values of feedstuffs. Besides, the end of the conversion period in the herd brought to the dairy last year facilitated the pickup in milk yields per day half as much again.
EkoNiva Group, the largest milk producing holding in Russia, has been announced the winner in the Launch of the Year: Services for Agricultural Sector category. On 16th October 2023, EkoNiva was the first company in Russia to launch commodity stock auctions for raw cow milk and dairy products, which are organised by the National Commodity Exchange (the NCE is a subsidiary of Moscow Exchange Group).
The best employees of Peterburgskaya Niva, EkoNiva Group’s subdivision in Leningrad oblast, have been presented with awards for the high production performance in 2023 and honoured for the years of dedicated work.
EkoNiva Group, the largest raw milk producer in Russia, is currently making preparations for spring field works. In the 2024 farming season, it is planned to allocate a total of 465,000 ha for different plants in thirteen regions where the company operates. Fodder crops occupy most of the area, but the share of pulses, which are in demand in the market, has also increased.
New EN Altais, EN Isida winter wheat varieties and EN Avior soya bean variety bred by EkoNiva’s Plant Breeding and Seed Maintenance Centre have been entered into the State Register of Plant Breeding Achievements in 2024. They are allowed for use in the Central Black Soil and Middle Volga regions.
EkoNiva has held a skiing competition for its team at the first weekend of February in Buturlinovka district, Voronezh oblast. About 30 employees of the holding’s local enterprises and their family members took part in the event.
