The largest Russian milk producer EkoNiva Group has increased the size of the dairy herd on its organic farm in Kaluga oblast. In early March, Savinskaya Niva dairy received 139 new heifers of Black-and-White, Red-and-White, Swiss, Simmental and Ayrshire breeds. The animals were delivered from Kaluzhskaya Niva, another enterprise within the holding.

EkoNiva-Semena, seed growing and plant breeding company within EkoNiva Group, has participated in the Interagromash Agritechnologies 2022 trade fair. The event took place in Rostov-on-Don on 2-4 March. The company presented high-yielding varieties, including those of own breeding, and pedigree cattle.
The enterprises of EkoNiva Group, the largest dairy producer in Russia, have hosted EkoNiva Spring Academy of Livestock Production on their farms in Voronezh oblast. A week-long course is finished on 4 March.
