The largest agricultural trade show EuroTier 2021 has taken place online this year. Everyone from anywhere in the world could participate in the forum. Just switching on the computer and registering on the official website was enough to open the doors to the world of modern agriculture.
The international organic food trade fair BioFach 2021 has begun its work. Annually, it takes place at the Nurnberg Messe Exhibition Centre, Nuremberg, Germany. However, this year due to the Covid restrictions, the organisers decided to exchange ideas and meet new manufacturers hosting the famous event online.
The construction of EkoNiva cheese plant with 60 tonnes of raw milk intake per day is nearing its completion. The first test batch of cheese was made in mid-January.
TatAgroExpo 2021, the largest agricultural exhibition, has taken place in Tatarstan. Over 200 enterprises from 30 regions of Russia and a number of leading foreign companies demonstrated their produce at Kazan Expo Exhibition Centre. EkoNiva was one of the most successful exhibitors of the show.
Results of The Russian Routes 2020 National award have been summed up in Moscow. Competing with 200 participants from all over the country, EkoNiva’s tour project run at Ulanovo dairy, Kaluga oblast, took second place in the Routes to Production Facilities category.
Sibirskaya Niva has enrolled in the national Labour Productivity project. The enterprise is one of the first in the Siberian region to introduce cost saving practices.
On 2 February, EkoNiva hit another milestone: 3,000 tonnes of milk per day.

The winter wheat varieties EN Albireo and EN Taygeta bred by EkoNiva have been entered in the State Variety Register of Plant Breeding Achievements permitted for use in the territory of the Russian Federation.
Prevention of a sharp jump in prices for dairy products in Russia has become one of the key issues discussed at the 12th Congress of the National Association of Milk Producers. Representatives of the dairy industry, relevant line agencies and ministries gathered to sum up the results of the Association's activities over the past year and establish the main short-term goals. As the tradition goes, the session was opened by Stefan Duerr, Chairman of the Management Board of Soyuzmoloko.
