EkoNiva-Bobrov hockey club from Voronezh oblast has finished the second season in the National Junior Ice Hockey League (NJIHL). The team advanced to a semifinal and won bronze medals.

EkoNiva Group, the largest raw milk producer in Russia, has commenced the spring seeding campaign. Kursk, Voronezh, and Ryazan oblast enterprises were the first to start the work in the fields. Flax, alfalfa, sugar beet, cereals, peas and sunflowers are being sown on the farms now. As for other regions, pre-sowing cultivation of the soil is in progress.

The Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) has announced the results of the National Industrial Tourism Accelerator Programme. EkoNiva farm tour project in Kaluga oblast has received an award for the best interactive content. EkoNiva farm tour was rated highly by a board of experts consisting of ASI specialists, representatives of the government authorities and the business community. In total, more than 350 enterprises from 53 regions of Russia took part in the competition.

EkoNiva-Semena has taken part in Ural-Agro 2022, a trade fair in Yekaterinburg oblast, to present seeds of varieties delivering high yields even in risky farming zones.

Darya Litvinova, an agronomist and plant breeder from EkoNiva-Semena, has successfully completed the third module of the training course on modern plant breeding technologies. During this final stage of the programme organised at Skolkovo, the attendees studied genomic selection.

EkoNiva has held a sports festival for the families of its employees in Voronezh oblast. Ten teams representing all the regional subdivisions of the company competed for the titles of gold medalists and EkoNiva’s sportiest family.

For the first time, Savinskaya Niva has opened its doors for the interns from Oryol State Agricultural University and Kaluga branch of the Moscow Agricultural Academy n. a. K.A. Timiryazev. The organic farm is already running trainings in Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine and soon is going to launch internships for machine operators.

Two winter wheat and two soya bean varieties created by EkoNiva Plant Breeding and Variety Maintenance Centre located in Zashchitnoye, Kursk oblast, have been entered into the State Register of Plant Breeding Achievements.
