EkoNiva Group, Russia’s largest raw milk producer, reports on the launch of the tour project at the cheese plant in Shchuchye, Voronezh oblast. Now the visitors can see with their own eyes all cheese production stages from the own raw milk selection to the finished product reception.
EkoNiva-Semena, a seed growing and plant breeding company within EkoNiva Group, has taken part in Don Field Day for the sixth time. The exhibition was held on 9-10 June in Zernograd district, Rostov oblast. The company displayed pedigree cattle and a crop variety portfolio with a particular focus on legumes.
Severnaya Niva Tatarstan, EkoNiva Group, has taken part in Sabantuy – a national Tatar festival dedicated to completing spring fieldwork.
Milk daily output at EkoNiva’s Siberian subdivision exceeded 555 tonnes on May 22 which is 16% more than early in the year. This upsurge was solely due to the increase in animals’ productivity, it was made possible thanks to the coherent work of the whole team and application of modern technologies.
EkoNiva, the largest dairy holding in Russia, has debuted at Caspian Agro 2022, an international agricultural trade show held at Expocentre in Baku. The company has come to network with local businesses and government representatives and research the opportunities of the republican farming sector. In total, over 100 potential clients have visited EkoNiva’s booth.
EkoNiva has participated in a student job fair at Agrofestival arranged by Kursk State Agricultural Academy.
On 12-13 May, agroclass students from schools of Liski and Bobrov districts, Voronezh oblast, took a course at EkoNiva’s enterprises. During training, 46 boys and girls get acquainted with the features of modern agriculture and intricacies of the agronomists’ and engineers’ work.
EkoNiva’s dairy in Verkhniy Ikorets, Voronezh oblast, has hosted the first offsite meeting of the National Dairy Producers Union (Soyuzmoloko). Among the participants were Stefan Duerr, Chairman of Soyuzmoloko and President of EkoNiva Group, Artyom Belov, Director General of Soyuzmoloko, and other key players in the milk market, including MolSib, Karat, Damate, Tetra Pak, Hochland, Molvest, Detskoselskiy concern etc.
EkoNiva-Bobrov hockey club from Voronezh oblast has finished the second season in the National Junior Ice Hockey League (NJIHL). The team advanced to a semifinal and won bronze medals.
EkoNiva Group, the largest raw milk producer in Russia, has commenced the spring seeding campaign. Kursk, Voronezh, and Ryazan oblast enterprises were the first to start the work in the fields. Flax, alfalfa, sugar beet, cereals, peas and sunflowers are being sown on the farms now. As for other regions, pre-sowing cultivation of the soil is in progress.
