The corporate Management Academy has held an autumn training session for 20 high-potential EkoNiva employees from Voronezh, Kaluga, Ryazan, Novosibirsk oblasts, Tatarstan and Bashkortostan on the premises of Shchuchye dairy farm.
EkoNiva-Semena, a seed growing and plant breeding company within EkoNiva Group, has participated in the 11th international agricultural exhibition KazAgro 2021, which took place in Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan, on 20th-22nd October. More than 400 agricultural producers visited the company’s booth at the event.
The crop harvested on the area of 64,218 hectares exceeded the production plan by 10%.

The MosMedynagroprom milk plant in Kaluga oblast has received a certificate of compliance with the requirements of Roskachestvo organic production standards.
Twenty combines are harvesting sunflower seeds in the fields of OkaMoloko, an enterprise within EkoNiva Group. The crop has already been reaped from 3,000 ha out of 21,000 ha where they are grown.
Representatives of the largest grass seed producer, a Danish company DLF Seeds, have visited Zashchitnoye, a plant breeding and seed growing enterprise of EkoNiva Group. During the meeting, the parties discussed the current cooperation issues and outlined the prospective directions for their future joint work.
Savinskaya Niva, EkoNiva’s organic operation situated in Kaluga oblast, is intending to stockpile 1,000 tonnes of organic maize silage which yield capacity makes 13,53 tonnes per hectare. The preparation started on September 30. So far, more than 500 tonnes of green mass have been reaped, while plans are afoot to harvest 100 hectares.
The first outcomes of cultivating in-house bred winter wheats have been assessed at the plant breeding and seed growing division of EkoNiva – these varieties have proved to be high-yielding and resistant to weather abnormalities.
EkoNiva has increased the winter crop area by more than 30%: 73,000 hectares against 56,000 hectares in the previous year.
