EkoNiva-Semena, a seed growing and plant breeding company within EkoNiva Group, participated in the Russian Field Day 2022 which took place in Kaliningrad oblast on 28-30 July.
EkoNiva Group, the largest dairy holding in Russia, has published its operating results for the first six months of 2021 relating to its core business segments: dairy farming, milk processing and plant growing.
EkoNiva Group took part in Ryazan Field Day 2022, the 6th agricultural trade fair, on 22nd July. EkoNivaTekhnika-Holding presented novelties and time-tested machinery, while EkoNiva-Semena introduced the in-house varieties and pedigree cattle.
Pavel Malkov, Acting Governor of Ryazan oblast, was given a warm welcome at the operation of EkoNiva Group, the largest milk producing holding in Russia, on July 21. He toured the farm and discussed the company’s growth prospects in the region with Stefan Duerr, EkoNiva Group President.
EkoNiva-Semena, a seed growing and plant breeding company within EkoNiva Group, annually participates in specialised industrial trade fairs in the Republic of Kazakhstan. On July 13-14, the company took part in Jana Dala/Green Day 2022 for the first time. Over 150 farming enterprises of the republic visited EkoNiva’s booth.
The seminar has welcomed about 100 employees from 10 areas where EkoNiva operates, i.e., Moscow, Ryazan, Kaluga, Kursk, Voronezh oblasts and the Volga and Siberian regions. It was not only the interregional scale which made it stand out of the crowd but also the coalescence of professionals – apart from agronomists and plant breeders, the event was attended by regional directors, heads of operations, economists, engineers and HR specialists.
EkoNiva-Semena, a seed growing and plant breeding company within EkoNiva Group, has participated in the International agro-industrial exhibition AGROVOLGA-2022, which took place in Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, on 6-8 July. EkoNiva presented trial plots featuring popular varieties from its portfolio and new varieties of own breeding.
XXII Regional Competition for the Title of the Best Cattle Artificial Insemination Technician and III Regional Competition for the Title of the Best Cattle Breeder took place on 1 July in Bobrov district, Kaluga oblast. Thirty-two specialists from farming enterprises across the region participated in the event, where Kaluzhskaya Niva employees represented EkoNiva Group.
Over 30 agricultural specialists from Belebeevo district, Bashkiria, took part in the seminar on forage preparation. The event was held in Severnaya Niva Bashkiria. At the seminar, farmers got acquainted with EkoNiva’s farming practices in nutritious forage preparation. Moreover, they discussed agronomic approaches and intricacies of state-of-the-art agricultural machinery.
The Field Day has been held on the premises of Zashchitnoye by EkoNiva-Semena, a seed growing and plant breeding company within EkoNiva Group. Over 150 agricultural producers from the Central region of Russia, Krasnodar area, Altai area, Far East, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan visited this event.
